Keith Tempest

Chief Executive Originally from Tauranga, Keith was educated at Massey University, where he attained a BBS. 1985 he joined the Tararua Electric Power Board. The following year Keith moved back to Tauranga to take up a role with the Tauranga Electric Power Board. Since then Keith has played an ongoing role in the evolution of TrustPower.

Karen Boyte

Human Resource Manager Karen has a Bachelor in Business Studies (HR) from Massey University, a Diploma in Management (NZIM), a NZ Diploma in Business studies and a Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Education. Her career includes HR, Training and Development, Performance Improvement and Organisational Development roles spanning more than 10 years. Karen joined TrustPower in 2003.

Robert Farron

Chief Financial Officer, Robert graduated from Massey BBS majoring in Accounting & Finance. Prior to joining TrustPower, Robert worked for ANZ Banking Group Utilities & Infrastructure specialisation within its Institutional Banking and secondly managing ANZ's Central Region Corporate Banking Business.

Mike Kedian

Generation Manager Originally from South Africa, Mike has a Masters in Engineering from Natal University, an MBA from Waikato University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Engineers of New Zealand. Since his arrival in New Zealand, Mike has held various roles within the hydro generation industry. Mike has a particular interest in renewable generation.

Chris O'Hara

Manager, Energy Sales Division Chris joined TrustPower in 1999, with a degree in Agricultural Science from Massey University. His career has included a number of roles in forestry and farm management, consulting in animal nutrition, sales and marketing and general management in the corporate sector, and ownership and management of a manufacturing company.

Therese Thorn

Trading and Risk Manager, Therese gained her Honours degree in Chemical and Material Engineering at Auckland University. She has been with TrustPower since 1993 and has held a variety of different roles, her particular forte being spot market risk management. Therese has also developed a strong understanding of price volatility drivers, and of constraints issues on the periphery of the grid.
