In April Infratil and the New Zealand Superannuation Fund are purchasing Shell's New Zealand fuel distribution and 17.1% interest in the New Zealand Refining Company for $696.5 million. The purchase is scheduled to complete on 1 April 2010. As at 29 March 2010 it remains conditional on bank finance and certain third party consents.
