Infratil Share Placement

Infratil is pleased to announce that it has placed 7,811,769 new ordinary shares at a price of $1.64 per share today to a panel of institutional investors. The shares were placed as part of the arrangements for the underwrite of the IFTWB series warrants with First NZ Capital Securities announced on 19 June 2009. The new ordinary shares will be issued and settle on Friday 17 July 2009.
