New Lynn
Infratil Infrastructrue Property (IIP) is working closely with the Waitakere City Council and other stakeholders on the redevelopment of the New Lynn town centre and transport interchange.
IIP holds a strategic site on Totora Avenue that has been used as the bus interchange for New Lynn. With the undergrounding of the main rail trunks and new station development , which are due for completion in 2010, the bus interchange is being integrated with the rail station to form a major transport portal, second only to Britomart.
Various potential uses of the land are now under review and will be integrated with the Waitakere City Council land and new street network.
