Steve Fitzgerald Steve Fitzgerald is Chief Executive of Wellington Airport and Infratil Airports. Prior to joining Mr Fitzgerald was GM Airport Operations at Sydney Airport, where he was also Head of Commercial Trading. Steve also had senior roles with the Australian Department of Transport overseeing the privatisation of Australia's airport infrastructure and investigating the options for expanded airport capacity in the Sydney basin area. |

Chinthaka Abeywickrama Chinthaka Abeywickrama is COO (Chief Operating Officer) of the Wellington Airport. Prior to joining WIAL in Oct 2008, Chin was Chief Executive of CHH Lodestar a division of Carter Holt Harvey in New Zealand. He holds a Masters Degree in Transport, MBA from Otago University and has 18 years of experience in service sector, where he held a number of senior management roles in New Zealand and Sri-Lanka. |

Tim Boyer Tim is Manager, Property & Development. He manages the airport’s non retail leases, including further developing its external retail centre. Tim has 7 years experience of managing property for the banking sector, and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Property Valuation & Management). A keen sportsman, Tim played first class cricket for the Wellington Firebirds, but now retired he prefers to play bad golf. |

Jane Cairns Finance Manager, Jane is responsible for the day to day financial management of the airport company. She had 5 years of auditing experience before joining the airport as Financial Accountant in 2005. Jane has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration Accounting and Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington. |

Marc Elliott Manager, Parking & Ground Transport, Marc manages the commercial business and operations of airport parking, rental cars, taxis and buses. He comes from a background in transport management and telecommunications, and managed the parking services for Auckland’s SkyCity before joining WIAL in 2007. |

Katy Ellis Katy manages the retail and food outlets and the conference centre in the airport terminal. As Retail & Development Manager, she aims to bring the best of Wellington retail to the airport. From the UK, Katy has a degree from Sussex University and spent 10 years with John Lewis Department Stores in various operational buying and development roles. |

Jon Eyley Jon joined WIAL in April 2007 as Airside Operations Manager. He has extensive military and operational background as a Weapons, Tactics and Flying Instructor having served 16 years as a pilot in the Royal Air Force, 7 years with the Royal New Zealand Air Force and 3 years with British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia. |

John Fuller John has worked in Wellington Airport’s operations for 15 years. He had a key role in the new terminal development, and as Terminal Services Manager he now manages terminal operations and security. During his time at the airport, John has also taken on increased responsibility at home; he has 5 children, 2 dogs, a cat and great respect for his wife. |

James Groombridge James Groombridge IT Manager. James has led the rebuild of WIAL's core IT infrastructure enabling the airport to offer leading services such as free public wifi and ensuring WIAL has a robust, easy to maintain IT framework. He started with the company in 2006 after experience with Ericcson (NZ), Energis (UK), Motorola (MEA) and TelstraClear (NZ). |

Martin Harrington Martin Harrington is the CFO for Wellington Airport. Prior to joining WIAL, Martin held a number of senior finance roles within various industry sectors, including shipping and tourism and the financial services sector. He manages the financial and management accounting and financial support for the business. |

John Howarth Wellington Airport's General Manager Planning and Assets. John trained as a Civil Engineer and has an extensive background in project management, construction and facilities management. |

Jo Maxwell Jo applies 12 years experience in the art and design industry to her role of Marketing Coordinator which involves brand management and marketing support. She is also involved in the airport’s community relations through its sponsorships and event management. Jo has a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and competes internationally in barbershop choruses. |

Louise Murray As Media Relations Manager, Louise manages the public profile of the airport. Her interest in media was shaped by a stint as a media officer for the Australian Prime Minister, Paul Keating. At the Sydney 2000 Olympics, she managed the executive office for the Games organising committee and was venue manager of the International Broadcast Centre. From Sydney Louise is pleased to be doing her bit to rebalance the shift across the ditch. |

Philippa Reid Philippa is Office Manager, providing organisational support to the airport’s corporate office. Her career spans the corporate and government sectors with 10 years in Asia and London. She enjoys spending time at her boutique vineyard while renovating its historic villa. |

Andy Scotland Andy Scotland joined Wellington Airport in 2003 as General Manager Marketing following a career in education, recreation and event management. Attracting, developing and managing major Wellington events highlight her past achievements. She is a director of Flat Earth NZ Experiences and of Wellington High Performance Aquatics. Andy’s focus is on long haul strategy and route development. |

Brian Stirton Brian joined WIAL in 2007 as Facilities Manager and is responsible for maximising the lifespan of the airport’s terminal and plant. He has 10 years of experience working in facilities management and 15 years in IT, most recently at IBM where he managed the commercial buildings and data centres. Brian has an aversion to flying, unless in his V8 which he has upgraded to fly within legal limits. |

Sue Thompson Sue is one of Wellington Airport’s longest serving employees, having joined in 1993 as Airport Service Officer. She has worked in various roles, both airside and landside, including managing a team during the construction of the airport’s new terminal. Sue brings this experience to her current role of Safety and Project Coordinator for the airport’s international terminal expansion and upgrade. |
