Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards

Community Awards FAQ

The Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards have been set up to recognise and celebrate the past achievements of, or work undertaken during the past 12 months, by voluntary groups and organisations in the community.

Volunteers are at the heart of our community - dedicating a tremendous amount of time and energy to help make it a better place in which to live.

Infratil and Waitakere City understand that, which is why we want to honour and reward volunteers through our Community Awards programme.

The Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards are open to all voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations - from health support groups to school PTAs to sports and service clubs.

The Awards are about celebrating volunteers and the generous amount of work they do in our community. Through the Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards, volunteers are given the recognition they really deserve.

No matter how big or small, if your group, club or society involves volunteers, then the Infratil-Waitakere City Community Awards are for you.
